So Scrappy October..... PINK IS THE COLOUR THEME FOR THIS MONTH ...
and once again here are my little houses - these have been so much fun it's a shame there will only be one more colour challenge.  I am, though looking forward to doing more colour themed creations next year.

                JACK - my gorgeous little baby grandson was born on Thursday 14th September, 2017. 
   Being a Grandma is just the best!

The latest of my Dutch Treat Blocks..

...thought it was time I went to the effort of putting all the blocks I have done so far up on the design wall.. approximately 60 more to do now...

So Scrappy ... goodness me I missed posting my coloured houses for March and April and here it is already June

JUNE IS HERE.... winter time ..

Well once again the weather is a lot cooler and it has taken me far too long to get back here ...

...the butterflies made it into a quilt along with lots of flowers and shapes for Katie, she loves her new quilt and cushion .. it arrived on her 3rd Birthday in May.  Grandma spent many hours getting it ready for her just in time!

We are now into March and it is the  

RAINBOW SCRAP CHALLENGE month for RED

My friends and I wanted to be doing this together today but things happened to get in the way of that .... so sadly I had to continue on alone

       I made a little bag & blanket for my dear little granddaughter, Katie.  Just posted them to her this morning .... so I am looking forward to hearing what she thinks about it when she gets it from her postman.. . . .

  So much thought goes into deciding how to put quilt blocks together....

 there are so many possibilities and I want to do all sorts of different things ...

but obviously had to decide on just one as I decided to use all 100 blocks in one quilt.  

I will keep the bonus blocks to use in another idea I have to match the quilt.

Well ..... after a whole year... and waiting for 2 releases each week of the Splendid Sampler blocks, designs created by 80 designers around the world....

It has sadly come to an end on February 14 ....  BUT we do now have 100 plus wonderful sampler blocks and many bonus blocks to show for all the work.

I have recorded every one of them in my Splendid Sampler page here on my blog. Now time to decide how to put them together.

It was good to see so many attending ... and it's always fun to see all the exhibits with plenty of goodies to purchase and learn about

GENESIS CREATIONS    has some exciting products with endless possibilities for creating colour on many materials 

Here is the small sample that I created on cotton and silk fabric with liquid radiance and guidance from Anne Mitchell the owner of Genesis Creations. It has given me inspiration to experiment further with colour, which I love.......😊

FEBRUARY is here and Aquamarine is our colour.....

So my friends and I have continued our house theme..this is lots of fun

It was a misty, cooler morning today and the spiders had been very busy overnightI have been adding some pages to my blog - time just goes too quickly .... must go and get some more new creations happening........

Well... January is Purple month and I have just begun trying really hard to finally work out how to make my blog happen in a slightly organised fashion.... 

No idea what I am doing really but at least I am trying... My quilting friends and I have decided to join in this wonderful idea of the rainbow scrap challenge and have made some creations with purple....... LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTHS COLOUR !
